I will discuss some of the common misconceptions in the Special Theory
and General Theory of Relativity. These will include from the Special
Theory the appearance of the Lorentz contraction and things that appear
to move faster than light. In the General Theory we will consider,
among other topics what happens and what appears to happen as a small object
falls into a spherical black hole.
