COURSE IS: |
An continuation of PHYS 101. Lecture
three hours per week.
Subjects covered are: electricity ( electric fields, AC and DC circuits); magnetism; optics (geometric and physical optics); and modern physics ( relativity and nuclear physics). |

| Prerequisite: | PHYS 102L is a co-requisite or prerequisite
for PHYS 102.
PHYS 101 is a prerequisite for PHYS 102. A working knowledge of algebra and simple trigonometry is assumed. |

| ATTENDANCE

You are expected to
attend all classes and laboratory periods.
You are responsible for all materials covered in class and lab and all outside assignments. |

| ONE-HOUR
TESTS: |

There will be three
(3) one-hour tests.
The dates for the tests are in the syllabus. Makeup of just one test of your choice is allowed. |

There will be a three-hour
written Final Exam.
There are no exemptions from the Final exam. The Final exam covers the entire semester's work. |
