At the Centennial APS meeting I learned not only a lot about
physics but also met some  of the people who do physics.  I was very
impressed with the wide range of information provided at this seminar.  I
attended seminars in my preferred areas of physics as well as other areas
that I knew little or nothing about.  A lot of the material went over my
head but I tried to wrie down everything of interest so that I may persue
these areas at my leisure.  I was able to hear two of Steven Weinburg's
lectures and I wish that I could have met my idol  but the crowd was too
large.  However, I did get to met some interesting graduate students, and
they briefed me on what graduate school is all about and what their
research interests are.  Altogether, I learned A LOT, and by attending
these lectures I got to hear some of the most current events in my
favorite field: Quantum Chromodynamics, and that was really inspiring.
